As the new cat approached, Wildshot couldn't help but stare at the abnormality of the cat. Catching herself she quickly looked down, ashamed of how rude she must have just seemed. Embarassed she looked back at Clappaw, and gave a half-smile. "I'm Wildshot. I'm glad to hear that I've come at a good time to help the clan."

"Really? Wow, thanks Fallingstar! This is amazing," Wildshot mewed, gazing at the leader. She hadn't known it would be that simple to join. Since the idea of becoming a part of clan had entered her mind, she had always thought about what she would have to do to join. Some cats had talked about having to fight against another cat, while others had said you had to prove how useful you could be. The she-cat was relieved to find out that these were rumors, and just rumors.

"Your belief would be correct!" Wildshot said cheerily. She eyed the new cat for a moment, wondering if this was their leader. "Can I ask who you are?" At the moment she had many questions but figured it was probably for the best to keep her curiosity to herself, at least for now.

She looked around expectantly, waiting for their leader to just pop-up out of nowhere. However, after a few moments had passed, Wildshot realized how absurd it was to think a cat could appear from thin air. "So...Do you know how long it should take your leader to get here?" Wouldn't it just be easier to go to their leader instead? She thought. If this is how they do it though, I'm not going to fight them on it.

"Oh that's good then!" Wildshot said happily, pleased with herself for finding her way. When the meaning of the second part of the other cat's words sank in, the corners of her mouth drooped a bit. Shaking it off, she mewed "So then Mazedpaw, how does one become a non-stranger?"

She was taken slightly aback by the blunt greeting but decided to ignore the rough tone. Before responding she let out a nervous laugh, then said "I'm here to join your clan? This is RainClan right? I've been walking forever, so it would be kind of upsetting if it wasn't." The tabby thought about what she said and the quiet sounds of self-doubt appeared in her mind. This had to be the place though, she hadn't encountered any other areas like this. "Oh. I'm Wildshot by the way."

Green eyes gleaming with excitement, a small cat stopped walking when she reached an area showing the distinct signs of a territorial border. She had been wandering for a while now, searching for her newest adventure. Along the way she had met a few cats who had told her a bit about "clans". One of these things being their unusual way of naming, so she changed her name from being boring old 'Brownie' to Wildshot. The brown tabby thought it suited her, but when are you really the best judge of character about yourself. As she waited for something to happen, her entire body seemed to be twitching with anticipation.

hell yeah abnormalty

Apparently not being able to really eat anything except soup does it.

But yeah that was not a fun week. cause i also had to deal with the fact that I missed one of the largest local music festivals in my area WHICH WAS BEING HEADLINED BY THE FRICKING BLACK KEYS so there was lots of sadness

I'm pretty sure I'm literally the epitome of the worst case scenario for it. Like my veins are so small that they couldn't even it find it with the IV for the anesthetics so I got a giant ass bruise on my arm. My mom's coworker's son got it done by the exact same guy and his went so much nicer.

I didn't really eat anything for the first few days I think, except like cream of mushroom soup because my mouth/jaw couldn't really open for anything and I still can't open it all the way now ha ha i hate my life so I had to like drink the soup out of a cup.

On the bright side, I lost 5 pounds from it.

Nah, cause I went for anesthetics instead of I guess the laughing gas? So the only after effects was just some dizziness and grogginess. The week after was the worse cause I had to take meds and the pain was really bad for the first few days and I couldn't really eat until about a week later.

It's been alright. I got my wisdom teeth out a couple weeks ago and I haven't been able to feel my chin since cause I guess they hit a nerve? But like besides that I went to a concert and turned 15 so
